Kids Fest was conducted at our school on Children’s Day, November 14, 2018. Our Chief Guest was Dr. Vijaya Kumari, Ophthalmologist at Drishyam Eye Care, Chavakkad. After the inaugural function, an awareness class was conducted by the Chief Guest about different eye diseases, how to protect the eyes from various infections and the impact of mobile phones on the eyes. On this occasion, we honoured Darshana V. of Class IV-B for securing First prize at the state level in English Quest Exam 2017-18. She had received a cash prize of Rs.10000. Dr. Vijaya Kumari presented her with the trophy and the cheque.
Following this, our tiny tots showcased their talents in various items like Solo Dance, Group Action Songs in English and Malayalm and Fancy Dress.
Drishyam Eye Care Hospital also conducted free eye check-up for all the students and staff of our school on the day.
