Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty. Independence Day was celebrated with great respect and patriotism. Our Chief Guest, Lieutenant Colonel Shri Unnikrishnan Nair, unfurled the national flag and officially commenced the day’s celebrations. The event featured a variety of cultural programs, including a March Past, dance performances, skits, and tableaux presented by the nursery section. The Amritamayi house also contributed to the festivities with a speech and a dance performance that added to the day’s beauty. Prizes were distributed to the Scouts and Guides volunteers who dedicated their efforts during Amrita Fest. The day concluded with a patriotic song and a Ramayana quiz competition.
