Kargil is not just a story of victory; it is a story of pain with pride.
Kargil Diwas was celebrated in our school with deep respect and patriotism, as we bowed our heads in honour of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. The event was presided over by Chief Guest Sri. Subedar Major C. Madhu. Mrs. Kala Sivakumar, wife of the brave soldier Sri. Sivakumar, who laid down his life in the Kargil War who is Deputy Tahsildar of Kuttanad, was honoured alongside our Chief Guest. Our dedicated and hardworking Physical Training teachers, Naib Subedar U. Pradeep Kumar Nair and Havildar Sreenath, were also recognized.
The program featured a heartfelt dance performance, a tribute to the Kargil Veer Jawans, and a skit depicting a battle with terrorists, all of which added to the solemn beauty of today’s celebration.
