Sri Farash T., IPS, at present the Station House Officer, was the chief guest. The programme started with lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, followed by prayer. The chief guest addressed the students and gave a very inspiring speech which was apt for the present generation.
Then there was an awesome March-past by the captains and vice-captains of the student council, sports, arts and the four Houses. Our former student Firoz Muhammad handed over the flag to the present Head Boy R. Kashinathan of Std. XII-A, thereby making them aware of their responsibilities. Next was the handing over of badges to the leaders by our chief guest, Principal Ma’am, academic advisor, PT teachers, house mistresses and staff coordinators. Oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Head Girl Induja of XII-A.
